As you begin to plan your trip to this amazing part of the world, here are some of the essential things you will want to put on your bucket list.

Cenote Dos Ojos

If you want to enjoy one of the natural wonders of Mexico you can come to the Cenotes and see the natural swimming pools which scatter over the landscape. These pools are only revealed when the limestone collapses above them, meaning that there are more and more pools every year. They are filled with dark water and loom magical against the wider landscape. You can even go scuba diving in them if you like!

On this island you will be able to revel in the dark brown waters and hear stories about the history of this island. It is believed that this island is a place where the line between out world and the spirit world is thin, means that spirits can crossover into this part of the world more easily. There is a Day if the Dead celebration held every year to celebrate this fact.
