Each day we have together as family and friends is something that we should celebrate. Often times we get so wrapped up in everyday life we forget to be thankful for the small things in life. We all have lots of things to be thankful for and here are some of the things we take for granted each day. But if you get stumped it is ok, just remember that even on the bad days we have lots to be thankful for.

1. Get into the Right State of Mind relieve some tension and anxiety by getting into the right state of mind. Try to focus on things you have instead of always focusing on the negative. It is much better for you but it a hurdle I face each day. Sometimes just thinking positive is one of the best things you can do to help you relax and wash some of your worries away.

2. Celebrate the Moment and be grateful for you have right now. Don’t worry about the past because it made you who you are today and be happy with your accomplishments. Set your goals and work towards them each day.

3. Show Gratitude to Your Family because without them you wouldn’t be where you are today. Each family member contributes to your happiness and each has their own personality. Take a moment to thank each of your family members for their hard work and contributions to your household.

4. Friends are easy to take for granted because we often times don’t think of the things they do for us. Sometimes something as simple as a text, note or old fashioned letter may make their day. My best friend and I spend one day together a month doing something as friends and sometimes we don’t even have to spend any money to do so. We talk about old times, share memories and just enjoy each other. Be thankful for one another each day of the year not just during the holidays.

5. Go Outdoors and enjoy the natural beauty around you. Lots of times we take advantage of our surroundings just because we see them each day. Spend time outside with loved ones and enjoy the outdoors and the day because it was given to you to enjoy.

Always be grateful for what you have because their are people that are a lot less fortunate to you. Get into the right state of mind and be thankful for the things around you that matter the most.
