Lime Crime Debuts Newest Venus Palette To Lineup: Purple/Pink Explosion
If there’s one thing the beauty-obsessed know is that Doe Deere loves color. Her makeup brand Lime Crime is truly a revolution of color and even wacko shades you’ve never seen in this universe.
Now, the cosmetics label has revealed its newest member of the cult favorite Venus Palette club, reported Revelist.com. It’s called “Venus 3 Palette,” and it brings the colors of purple and pink to a whole new contemporary level.
The eyeshadow palette features the signature eight pan repertoire and comes boxed in the most elegant and artistic kit ever that addicted fans have come to covet and collect. The hauntingly beautiful “The Birth of Venus” painting by Botticelli is printed on the front cover of the Venus 3 Palette. It’s sophisticated and lovely with a great compact mirror inside.
Doe Deere believes that the makeup should always knock your socks off and that the packaging should be gorgeous, memorable and something pretty to stash in your bag or set on your vanity table.
For those counting, Doe Deere has launched four Venus Palettes; There is the original (Venus I), Venus II, Venus XL (with 18 shadows) and the new Venus 3 (III).
This time, the palette is still strong and head-turning, but there’s a modern ethereal quality to the kit of colors. The violet, rusted pink, mauve, wine and others have a feminine elegance to them. The Venus Palette is always about the grunge beauty, but Doe Deere wanted to add something different that complemented the fashion and mood of spring. This time, it’s about the purple tones, and even the Pantone Color Institute has named Ultraviolet as its color obsession of the moment.
The shades of purple and pink are warming to every complexion, and this new Lime Crime launch does not disappoint. In fact, fans call it very sexy and modern.
The Venus 3 kit contains a great balance with matte shades and three shimmer shadows that glide on like silk and leave a velvet look. Then, there are two wet-like shadows that feel like butter and reflect a cool, gel-like effect. Trust us, it’s a sensuous palette.
Here are the Venus 3 Palette colors: Dreamy (muted matte pink), Beam (pink with silver sparkly reflects), Heavenly (pinkish gold shimmer), Rapture (light pink shimmer), Ecstasy (matte wine), Paradise (purple shimmer), Bliss (dark rusted pink) and Beloved (matte mauve).
Lime Crime makeup shows off incredible pigment, and that’s one reason why these shadow kits have become so popular in such a brief time. The shades have gorgeous build-ability and depth. They are even in the application and blend out nicely with minimal fallout.
The Venus 3 Palette is long-wearing, say fans, and it doesn’t cause creasing.
