The United States is such a vast country with so much to see and do, that it can take you a while to experience all that is has to offer. And if you’re looking to save some cash, being able to take a family vacation but not spend a lot is going to be a great help too. But where are some of the best spots to go and visit? Grand Canyon, Arizona
The Grand Canyon is really a thing of beauty and a sight to behold. So trip down to Arizona is always a good idea for a family vacation. You can explore as much or as little of it as you would like, making it work for families of all ages. Plus, it doesn’t get more affordable than being able to camp. If your budget is tight, there are plenty of camping areas close by. Not to mention the weather is pretty much favorable all year round, so camping could be a fun and cheap option.
San Antonio, Texas
Sticking to the south, then a trip to Texas is always a good idea. San Antonio is a better option for a vacation, though, rather than the hustle and bustle of Houston. San Antonio is home to the Alamo and the River Walk, with great food and shopping. San Antonio is a city that is constantly buzzing with things to do.
Las Vegas, Nevada
Because Las Vegas is such a tourist spot, it can be a great place to get a bargain vacation. Not to mention the food and shopping is amazing. While Alaska isn’t exactly ‘stateside’ it is still a great place to visit that is going to be a completely different vacation than you might get in other parts of the US.
